I have been working in the turf industry for over 15 years. From commercial contracts to residential properties, to high-end golf courses, I’ve seen and worked with it all.
As a kid, when I wasn’t traveling for hockey, I spent weekends outside with my dad helping with all the yard work and maintenance of our home. I also assisted my dad with the snow removal, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and facilities maintenance at an outlet shopping center we managed.
I entered the golf course business at 16, which lead me to study Horticulture and Turfgrass Sciences at State University of NY at Cobleskill and Ferris State University in Michigan. Over the years, I served as an intern at the prestigious Wuskowhan Players Club and the gorgeous Arcadia Bluffs. This led me to Macatawa Legends Golf Club where I served as the Assistant Superintendent. After a short break from the turf industry to focus on my golf game, I found myself back in the business working for Holland Charter Township on their athletic fields and parks.
Most recently, I spent 6 years in San Diego, CA working for the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District as a Senior Grounds Worker and Grounds and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. My wife and I moved back to Michigan in 2019 to be closer to family. I am excited to bring my accumulated knowledge and expertise back to Michigan to serve your business and your families.
Thank you for the opportunity to continue living my passion every day.
